Who are we?

We are Project Oliva, an NUS Medicine student-led initiative with the aim of bridging the gap between the neurodiverse community and the neurotypical society.

Established in 2017, Project Oliva strives to create a fun and engaging platform to facilitate the interaction between the neurodiverse and neurotypical communities. We achieve this through collaboration with our main partner, Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS).

Our Vision

Bridging the gap between the neurodivergent and neurotypical populations.

Our Mission — Education, Advocacy, Outreach

Education

Neurodivergent community: Develop and foster increased social skills and independence.

Neurotypical community: Inculcate a better understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and how to interact with them.

Outreach

Facilitate more interactions between neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals.

Through our activities, we hope to increase empathy and acceptance of neurodiverse individuals and provide a platform where they can forge meaningful relationships with each other.

Advocacy

Raise awareness about the needs and challenges faced by the neurodivergent community and their caretakers.
